Retains 50% of its fixing power in water and regains 100% of its strength when dried. Its closing force increases with the pressure exerted. Maximum shrinkage of 4%. Can be sterilized or autoclaved. Melting temperature of 204 degrees celsius (399 degrees fahrenheit) and can be ironed with an iron up to 163 degrees celsius (325 degrees fahrenheit).
